Professional Qualifications
Ms. Murphy has extensive experience representing business clients from varied industries in litigation matters. She represents employers in connection with a wide variety of employment and labor issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. She also has a wide array of civil litigation experience representing retailers and manufacturers in consumer products litigation and class actions. She has handled a significant number of complex cases and class actions from inception through trial and successfully defended corporations in the California Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals, and Federal District Courts.
Ms. Murphy graduated Order of the Coif and with Great Distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During her time in law school, she served as the Chief Managing Editor of the University of the Pacific Law Review and completed an externship with Justice Ronald B. Robie of the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District.
Ms. Murphy is an active member of her community and enjoys serving as an Advisory Board Member for the Me-One Foundation.
