Lauren Sujeeth Moderates Panel on Joining a Corporate Board at BASF Women Impact Network Conference
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell PC shareholder Lauren Kramer Sujeeth will moderate a panel at the sixth annual Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Women Impact Network (WIN) Conference on Oct. 24. The session, titled “Strengthen Your Leadership Skills by Joining a Corporate Board,” will address why women should pursue board membership, along with the career and networking benefits.
Joining Sujeeth will be Laura DeCaro, a partner with Leland, Parachini, Steinberg, Matzger & Melnick LLP, and Debra Bogaards, a mediator and arbitrator with ADR Services, Inc. Together, they will discuss:
- Breaking down women’s barriers to board directorships.
- Pathways to joining a corporate board.
- Steps women who are more junior can take if they are interested in joining a corporate board.
- The pros and cons of being on a corporate board.
