Shareholder Robert Metzger Featured in Law Firm Success Strategies Podcast About Practice Development

Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. shareholder Robert S. Metzger sat down with Doug Brown, JD, of Answering Legal’s Law Firm Success Strategies podcast to discuss how he has successfully developed and implemented his own marketing strategy. Metzger has developed a broad following, strong client base, and received high marks from international ranking authorities – all without internal marketing resources and on a very low marketing budget.

In the episode titled, “Tips on Developing And Sharing Expertise,” Metzger provided tips on how attorneys can grow their practice, gain distinction and recognition without a large marketing budget, and compete with big firms. 

“It’s going to take time. You have to have a strategic plan,” Metzger said in the episode. “You don’t want to be captured or bound by or a prisoner of the plan. You need to be thinking two, three, five years ahead.”

Metzger also discussed how he has built a following on LinkedIn and emphasized the importance of providing insightful thought leadership and commentary to followers. 

“LinkedIn has been indispensable to my business development progress, growth, reputation and recognition,” Metzger said in the episode. “My posts have had anywhere from a few dozen views to more than 20,000. People recognize the value of what I have done, trust in my perspective and appreciate that I try to see both sides. I always try to add value, too.”
