Sharon Rossi to Discuss the Future of PAGA at Employment Law Summit
Rogers Joseph O’Donnell P.C. shareholder Sharon Ongerth Rossi will discuss how California employers can stay ahead of Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) compliance on Nov. 13 at Centerforce’s Employment Law Summit in Palo Alto, California.
Ms. Rossi will serve as a panelist for “The Future of PAGA: Key Reforms and Employer Strategies,” covering proactive approaches to managing and defending PAGA claims.
Along with other panelists, Ms. Rossi will discuss the California Supreme Court decision in Adolph v. Uber, reforms introduced by AB 2288 and SB 92, and best practices for revising arbitration agreements, implementing robust compliance programs and minimizing the risk of costly litigation. The panel will take place at 11:05 a.m. PT.
Rossi will also present the roundtable “Dealing with High Risk Terminations” at 1:20 p.m.

Sharon Rossi’s practice is focused on defending complex cases in state and federal courts, with emphasis on class and representative actions, including PAGA claims. She has experience handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, as well as appeals. In addition, Ms. Rossi has extensive experience counseling employers on a wide array of matters, including leaves of absence, disability accommodations, terminations and harassment complaints. She also works with employers to ensure their policies are legally compliant and conducts investigations in response to employee complaints of alleged unlawful practices.
